Dr. Shamita Ghosal has been practicing gynecology and obstetrics for 25 years. She graduated with an MBBS degree from Calcutta National Medical College, followed by a DGO from Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, and a Diplomate of National Board of Education.
To gain further expertise in her field, she completed an observership at St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London and subsequently gained membership from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London .
She pursued her interest further and achieved a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital. Dr. Ghosal has been working as a consultant in obstetrics and gynecology in Kolkata . She has wide experience in managing infertility, polycystic ovarian disease, and high - risk pregnancies .
She has performed many challenging abdominal surgeries . Her expertise in laparoscopic surgeries has enabled her to perform complicated gynecological cases . Her interest in research and continuous learning drives her to attend continuing medical education activities and write for eminent journals
