  • Dr. Samit Ghosal has been practicing internal medicine with a special interest in diabetes for the last 24 years. He completed his MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College and his MD from Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai. 
  • He gained additional training in diabetes from Cardiff University, UK, where he was granted a diploma (Dip. Diab.) with distinction. To broaden his expertise, he completed a diploma in endocrinology from Glamorgan University, UK (PG. Dip. Endo). 
  • With a special interest in research and statistics, he completed his master's in diabetes care with a focus on medical statistics (MSc.) from Glamorgan University, UK. He was awarded the best poster at the Berlin Faculty Forum for the QVADIS study on diabetic neuropathy. 
  • Dr. Ghosal has extensive teaching experience as a tutor and honorary lecturer, having been associated with Cardiff, Leicester, and the University of South Wales in this capacity. He has more than 100 publications in national and international journals. His publication expertise includes meta-analyses, meta-regression analysis, Bayesian network meta-analysis, and cross-sectional data exploration, including regression analysis. 
  • He completed the Asynchronous: Introduction to Meta-Analysis training from Columbia University in 2024. Dr. Ghosal actively participates in national and international conferences and has delivered numerous lectures.
